I served 15 years as a Greenfield selectman. In that time, I worked with RoxannWedegartner when she was an elected member of the Greenfield School Committee and after I appointed her to the Planning Board. She was a strong, committed advocate for our schools and a fair-minded, knowledgeable member of the Planning Board, where she served as chairwoman for 14 years. I see those same qualities and more in her as a Mayor.
Virginia Desorgher has served only one term as a city councilor and doesn’t have the level of experience that Mayor Wedegartner does. Roxann has proven she can do the job and that her depth and breadth of knowledge of how to run our city serves us well.
I’ll be proudly casting my vote to reelect Roxann on Nov. 7. Let’s all reelect Mayor RoxannWedegartner!
