DEERFIELD — The annual townwide tag sale is set for Saturday, Oct. 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.
At least 32 tag sale permits have been approved by the town, with folks holding sales on King Philip Avenue, Sugarloaf Street, Crestview Drive, Lower Road, Elm Circle, North Main Street, Captain Lathrop Drive, Hillside Road, North Hillside Road, Graves Street, Ward Avenue, Beaver Drive, Lee Road, Allen Drive and Conway Road.
The Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association (PVMA) is also hosting a tag and estate sale at 10 Memorial St. under its tent. Antiques, dolls and other collectibles will also be sold that were owned by former PVMA staff member Beth Gilgun, who died in 2021.
It is also hosting a used book clearance sale, where four books cost $1.
SOUTH DEERFIELD — While the townwide tag sale is going on, Tilton Library at 75 North Main St. is hosting a book sale from 9 a.m. to noon.
The sale is planned to be held in the front of the library, but will be moved indoors in the event of rain. Tilton Library is hosting a special sale price of $20 for a bag of books.
