I’m writing in response to Don Baumer’s guest column, “The truth about Biden for president” [Recorder, Sept. 5], in which he argues that Biden may be to old to serve effectively for another term, the operative term being “may.”
The idea of some younger rising star in the Democratic Party becoming our next president may be appealing, but it’s nothing more than a lovely fantasy! We live in the world that is, not the world we would prefer. Biden is doing a really great job and shows no signs of inability I can see. We Dems need to rally behind him and forget the wishful thinking. Visualize another term of Trump and act accordingly!
