4:36 p.m. — Caller on Avenue A reports a suspicious person across the street, dressed in all black and wearing a hoodie.

6:31 p.m. — Police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Turners Falls and Old Northfield roads. The driver was issued a citation and Rau’s Sunoco Service was requested to tow the vehicle.

Wednesday, July 12

2:36 p.m. — Employee at Connecticut River Liquors on Avenue A is concerned about juveniles who keep jumping on the roof of the store from a neighboring apartment building.

5:59 p.m. — Caller from L Street reports a female party who had been drinking is now leaving with her kids in the car. Police found the vehicle parked with nobody in it. They then spoke to the stepmother of the involved party, who said they were going to go somewhere, but decided not to.

Thursday, July 13

7:47 a.m. — Erving Police advised of a white BMW driving erratically and crossing the double lines heading southbound on Federal Street. The vehicle was last seen going south along Route 63. The last three numbers of the license plate were 246.

12:29 p.m. — Caller requests assistance with a verbal altercation at The United Arc building on Avenue A. The male party who was yelling left prior to police arrival. Police were told to be on the lookout. The man was driving with a suspended license.

Friday, July 14

9:50 p.m. — Caller from Old Greenfield Road reports she and her husband were just woken up by six gunshots. When they looked outside, her husband reportedly saw somebody standing on the bike path near the bridge holding a large gun. Police advised that fireworks were being set off.

10:04 p.m. — Caller on Federal Street reports a possibly intoxicated driver turned into the horse stables coming from Sunderland to Montague. Driver was having trouble staying within the lines and speed was a variable.

Saturday, July 15

2:55 p.m. — Caller from North Leverett Road reports a multi-vehicle crash with injuries. Rau’s Sunoco Service towed the vehicles. The driver and passenger of one vehicle, as well as the driver of the second vehicle, were taken to Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield.

8:18 p.m. — Jillian Billings, 37, of Captain Lathrop Drive in South Deerfield, was arrested on a warrant on Avenue A. She was later released on bail.

Sunday, July 16

11:18 a.m. — Caller from Dell Street reports a female party is making homicidal statements to his family. Caller advised he would be going to the courthouse in the morning to file paperwork seeking a restraining order.

7:26 p.m. — Erving Police advise that a motorist reported motorcycles racing in Lake Pleasant. Police checked the area and didn’t find anyone racing.

Monday, July 17

12:03 p.m. — Caller at Unity Park witnessed a woman punch her dog and say she was “having a bad day” when confronted. Animal control and police responded.

7:57 p.m. — Walk-in from Avenue A states she was threatened at knifepoint and her vehicle was vandalized. Police advised to be on the lookout.

Tuesday, July 18

9:14 a.m. — Hadley Police requested a welfare check on the North Leverett Road address of an elderly male with dementia who left on foot at 2:20 a.m. from the Courtyard by Marriott in Hadley. The house was checked with his wife and he was not there. He was later reported missing.

2:37 p.m. — Police arrested a male party whose ex-girlfriend called 911 to report him breaking into her house on Fourth Street and refusing to leave. The male requested to be hospitalized, but left the residence on foot before an ambulance could arrive.
