Pat Larson’s 10 points lifted Easthampton to a 46-40 win over Orange in a DRIVE League boys JV playoff game at Stoneleigh Burnham in Greenfield on Monday.
Malachi Grummell scored 17 points in the loss.
Later Ben Adams scored 11 points while Kareem Thompson added eight points to lift Athol to a 36-19 win over Hampshire.
Jerry Moreau led the Raiders with 10 points.
In men’s league action in the DRIVE League at Greenfield High School on Monday, Jalen Sanders scored 25 points while Garrett Cote added 12 points in The Future’s 71-62 win over OSC-Manning.
Brady McGuire scored 18 points while Owen Morse tossed in 12 points in the loss.
In the second game of the night, Matt Petro scored 31 points while Tyson Dowdy added 15 points in Team Markol’s 89-50 victory against Bruso Computer Solutions.
Martin Cahillane finished with 12 points for Bruso.
To close out the night, Bryce Williams tallied 27 points while Zayed Sadiq added 12 points in Amherst Office Park’s 72-64 triumph over The Cream.
Justin Stone scored 19 points while Spencer Czarnicki had 15 points in the loss.
Greenfield co-ed
A huge night at the dish from Kramer Patenaude helped propel Thayer Street Builders to an 18-5 win over the Liberty Tax Sharks in a Greenfield Co-ed League adult softball contest on Tuesday.
Patenaude smacked four hits, including a double and two home runs, and drove in five runs for Thayer Street. Tyler Lavin (two RBIs), Brittany York and Brody Markol (three doubles) all roped three hits in the win, and Kyle Kazenad and Mackenzie Salls each had two hits.
The Liberty Tax Sharks were paced by Peter Magbalansky’s three hits, including a double, while Che Christi, Mirielle Benjjani and Mike Cole registered two hits apiece.
