7 races with no candidates, 3 incumbents seek reelection on Monroe election ballot

MONROE — There are seven positions for which there are no candidates on Monday’s annual town election ballot, and three positions that have incumbents running for reelection.

The positions with candidates on the ballot are:

■Selectboard/Planning Board/Board of Health, three-year term — Alice Houghtaling, incumbent.

■School Committee, three-year term — Kimberly Oakes, incumbent.

■Library trustee, three-year term — Sandra Goodermote, incumbent.

The remaining positions without candidates on the ballot, and that could be won by write-in candidates, are:

■Finance Committee, three-year term.

■Finance Committee, two-year unexpired term.

■Constable, three-year term.

■Moderator, one-year term.

■Town clerk, one-year term.

■Auditor, one-year term.

■Tree warden, one-year term.
