April 1: Rabies vaccine clinic

GREENFIELD — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Regional Dog Shelter is sponsoring a rabies vaccine clinic at the Franklin County Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 1, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per shot per pet, cash only.

Dogs must be leashed (flex/extendable leashes are not allowed) and cats must be in carriers. No appointment is necessary. A previous rabies vaccine will be required to obtain a three-year shot.

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Public Library will continue its virtual author talk series on Tuesday, April 4, at 7 p.m. with Kate Beaton, bestselling cartoonist of “Hark! A Vagrant” and “Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands.”
