DEERFIELD — The Bement School will host a community needs drive on Sunday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the campus parking area, located at 583 Greenfield Road. The collection will be held rain or shine.
Items collected will be given to the Franklin County Community Meals Program, ServiceNet, Stone Soup Cafe, the Treehouse Foundation and the Friends of Hampshire County Homeless.
Items needed include men’s and women’s winter clothing, personal hygiene products, house cleaning products, surgical face masks, COVID-19 tests, baby wipes, duffel bags and blankets.
CONWAY — The second bridge on North Poland Road has been closed for travel until further notice, according to the town website.
The bridge, which was already scheduled for replacement in 2024, was deemed unsafe for travel by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation on Nov. 4.

Concerts to
feature Michael and Carrie Kline
LEVERETT — Mount Toby Concerts’ music series continues with Sunderland residents Michael and Carrie Kline, joined by Joe Blumenthal and Jim Armenti, to perform on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m.
The Klines, who have spent a lifetime hearing and telling the stories of Appalachia, bring those experiences to life with folk music and stories. A suggested donation of $15 to $25 is requested at the door. To make reservations, email diacrowe@yahoo.com or call 413-336-2589.
