Vote yes on Question 4. This will allow anyone, regardless of immigration status, who can pass the written and driving portions of the Massachusetts driver’s license tests, to become a legal driver. Our roads are safer with more legally licensed drivers.
On traveling to work when there is no public transportation — let’s not make people risk having an accident because they are desperate to get to work but they do not have the knowledge needed for a legal drivers license.
Also, in order to vote, a person has to prove they are a U.S. citizen. A driver’s license does not qualify you to vote.
