GREENFIELD — The Moose Lodge at 20 School St. is hosting weekly spaghetti suppers on Wednesdays starting at 5:30 p.m.

GREENFIELD — Anne Lanning, senior vice president of Historic Deerfield, will lead a Zoom presentation on Connecticut River Valley taverns in the 18th and early 19th centuries on Thursday, Sept. 15, starting at 7 p.m.
The talk, offered through the Historical Society of Greenfield, will offer discussion about the men and women who were tavern-keepers, with Lanning drawing on experience from her 36-year career at Historic Deerfield. According to a notice from Historical Society President Tilda Hunting, Lanning will draw from many resources — including diaries, newspapers, account books, probate records and travel accounts — and consider the many services taverns offered for travelers and locals alike.

GREENFIELD — Visitors to the Greenfield Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 17, can pick up a free Pocket Constitution, offered in observance of Constitution Day.
Constitution Day is a federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. It is observed on Sept. 17, the day in 1787 that delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the document in Philadelphia.
Registration is not required, but supplies are limited, according to a Greenfield Public Library press release. One copy per person will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
GREENFIELD — The LAVA Center at 324 Main St. will present Beetle 7, a new live music project from musician Steve Koziol, on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Beetle 7 is an ambient space music experience by Koziol, with special guests Kevin Smith and Leo Hwang. There will be both solo and collaborative musical performances, according to a LAVA Center press release.
The LAVA Center is asking for a suggested donation of $5 to $10, which can be contributed at the door or online at localaccess.org/donate.
GREENFIELD — Just Roots farm at 34 Glenbrook Drive will host a free workshop for farmers to enhance their native pollinator habitats on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

GREENFIELD — The Girl Scouts of Central & Western Massachusetts will hold a free “You Grow Girl” event on Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, located at 25 Church St.
The event is for girls in kindergarten or first grade who are not yet Girl Scout members. According to a Girl Scouts press release, participants will plant, water and take home their own planted seeds, as well as make their own ice cream sundae.

GREENFIELD — “Ocean House,” an exhibit by local artist Stacey Pea, is on display at the Artspace Community Arts Center at 15 Mill St. throughout September.
The show is open to the public, and was curated with children in mind, according to an Artspace newsletter. Masks are required, hand sanitizer is provided and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

GREENFIELD — Jillian Gochinski of Greenfield was named to the Dean’s List at Simmons University in Boston for the spring semester.
To qualify for Dean’s List status, undergraduate students must obtain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, based on 12 or more credit hours of work in classes using the letter grade system.

Gale LegalForms can be accessed 24/7 on any device by visiting the library’s website, greenfieldpubliclibrary.org. A library card is not required. The service, provided by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and the Massachusetts Library System, is free and available to all Massachusetts residents.
