Saw a thing on the Springfield news about two pedestrians struck by a vehicle on the same street, that another person was struck and killed last year. The street is currently under construction, trying to make it safer for people to cross, I think. And the reporter asked a couple different people how they thought it could be made safer. I think one said maybe add a set of lights, and another didn’t really know what could be done, and I think the reporter never really came up with the real  answer. And I think it’s an easy fix, without the thousands of dollars they keep spending, trying to make it safer. Now pay attention, I don’t want anyone to miss this. How about teaching people to look both ways before crossing the dangerous street. But, that’s not all. Also, don’t walk in front of a moving vehicle.

So, what do you think? Should we give it a try?
