Many years ago my brother, Charles (Chuck) Francis Reum (pronounced rhyme as in nursery rhyme) was the Commodore of the Franklin County Boat Club. He was assisted by his wife Janice and his daughter Kristina Willette. He started Christmas in July and the fireworks and the decoration of the boats and the visits by Mr. and Mrs. Claus. I thank Julian Mendoza for the excellent reporting of this year’s event, but wanted to see my brother and niece get the credit they so richly deserve.
