It’s been a summer of holes-in-one at the Country Club of Greenfield.

Two more names joined the club in recent days.

Mike Duclos got things started on Friday, when he recorded the second hole-in-one of his career at the fifth hole. Measuring in at 138 yards, Duclos used a pitching wedge to accomplish the feat, which was witnessed by Mike Johnson, Mike Archer and Randy St. Germain.

For the second time in her career, Anne Echeverria also carded a hole-in-one over the weekend.

Echeverria aced the second hole at CCG, using a hybrid club from 130 yards out to accomplish the feat, which was witnessed by Donna Woodcock, Lane Kelly and Sally Roberts.

Jon Hunt Senior Two Ball    

The duo of Dean Godek and Dean Vecciarelli combined to shoot 65 and capture the overall championship at the Jon Hunt Senior Two-Ball over the weekend at the Country Club of Greenfield.

Three teams tied for second with 66s: Doug Riel and John Bresnahan, Jim Kennedy and Brian Foley, and Thomas Bergeron and Bob Bergeron.

Low net winners were Jon Shea and Phil Phillips (62), and four teams tied for second at 65.

The Senior Flight championship saw three teams earn low gross honors at 68: Chris Kostek and Francis Grover, Jason Kelton and Steve Jones, and KC Finley and Brodie Conant.

Three teams tied for low net at 66: James LaFleur and Don Muccino, Shaun Fleming and Chris Demers, and Wayne Garfinkel and Ric  Weinman.

The Super Senior Flight was won by Don Dastoli and David Laravee (69), with Bob Linn and Gary Mattesen tying Carter and Jon Fasick for second (71).     

The team of Keith Schempp and Doug Muehlberg tied with Richard Tozloski and Mike Beauregard for low nett (66).

CCG Elks League

Keith Schempp and Dave McDonald lead the Greenfield Elks League at the Country Club of Greenfield after 16 weeks, as the pair have amassed 76 points.

Greg Call and Bob Zaikowski are next with 75 points.

Closest to the pin this week were Greg Call at No. 2 (15-10) and Joe Ruggeri at No. 5, as he recorded a hole-in-one to highlight action.

Matt’s Men’s League

Charlie Peters posted the low gross (36) and Mark Letourneau had the low net (30) during Week 16 action of the Matt’s Men’s League at Thomas Memorial Golf & Country Club in Turners Falls.

Closest to the pin winners were Ken  Adams (No. 7, 6-9) and Charlie McCracken (No. 9, 19-0).

Most points on the week (5.5) were recorded by McCracken and Jon Snow, Bob Samson and Cam Landers, and Don Mailloux and Zack Little.

Greenfield Co-ed playoffs

Tom Anderson smacked three hits, including a home run and a double, and drove in four runs to lift third-seeded Thayer Street Builders past sixth-seeded Tavern of South Deerfield, 17-2, in a Greenfield Co-ed League playoff game over the weekend.

Thayer Street’s Kat Chabot and Ricky Craver each had three hits, including a double, and Kelly Sadler allowed just four hits on the mound and scored the game-winning run.
