I just wanted to thank the heroes in the Greenfield Police Department, as well as the heroes in the local Fire Department and the heroes in local ambulance services for their outstanding work to help me after I was struck by a vehicle and badly injured on the night of Monday, Aug. 15, while using a crosswalk to cross Elm Street across from the Franklin County Jail. The officers of the Greenfield Police Department were professional, courteous and responded to the scene of the crime in less than half an hour. I pray that whoever hit me in the crosswalk gets caught and brought to justice. I’m sure the Greenfield Police are trying their best, and I look forward to seeing the suspect sent to prison for his crime against me.
Thank you to everybody in involved, and that includes the hospital personnel in Greenfield, too.
