Mike Morin was the weekly winner in the Knights of Columbus League at Thomas Memorial on Wednesday, finishing with a score of plus-7.
Mark Matusz and Ken Adams tied for second with scores of plus-6.
In closest to the pin, Jim Koldis won on No. 7 while Rod Demers won on No. 9. Matusz, Morin and Fran Togneri won skins.
Matt’s Men’s League
Charlie Bohl carded the low gross (36) and low net (29) in Matt’s Men’s League at Thomas Memorial on Tuesday.
Jon Snow won closest to the pin on No. 7 (nine feet, seven inches) and No. 9 (23-9).
Billy Kimball and Bob White tied with Wayne DeGrenier and Andy Wyngowski for the most points on the week, with each scoring six points.
Sign-ups have begun for the Millers River Challenge.
The 10th annual canoe, kayak and stand up paddle board race, which is hosted by the Orange Lions Club, is set for Saturday, Sept. 3 beginning at the Orange Riverfront Park.
The eight-mile Pro Race begins at 11 a.m. while the High School Cup Race and Youth Race get going at 1 p.m. Same day race sign-up begins at 9 a.m. The cost is $5 for kids under 18 and $20 for those 18-and-up.

The sixth annual Race to End Child Abuse will be taking place on Sunday, Sept. 18. The race kicks off at 152 Petty Plain Road in Greenfield, with sign-in and registration beginning at 8 a.m., the kids fun run getting underway at 8:40 a.m. and the 5K run/walk starts at 9 a.m.
The cost is $15 per runner and $10 per walker. All proceeds benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center of Franklin County and North Quabbin to continue their work with children who have experienced sexual abuse in the area.
Runners are encouraged to wear superhero costumes, with prizes awarded to the top finisher, best costume and top fundraiser.
