BERNARDSTON — The Powers Institute Museum at 20 Church St. will be open Sunday, Aug. 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. with four attendants on site.
According to a notice from Bernardston Historical Society President Louella Atherton, a new addition to the collection is the Flagg family Bible, with the family’s genealogy included. Members of the Flagg family have resided in Bernardston since the town was incorporated in 1762.
“Come and see if your ancestors have roots in Bernardston,” Atherton’s notice reads. “We will help you dig for the information.”
