WARWICK — Traffic is being detoured from Northfield Road for the foreseeable future amid an extensive culvert installation, bridge repair and road reconstruction project.
Drivers will be detoured as construction commences between School Street in Northfield and Bass Road in Warwick each week from Monday at 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Friday. The road will remain closed on weeknights and will reopen on weekends, but drivers are encouraged to drive cautiously because the road is under construction, according to a press release from the town of Warwick.
Detours will direct drivers to Route 63 on the Northfield side and will direct them to Routes 10 and 78 in Winchester, New Hampshire. Drivers on the Warwick side will be detoured to Route 78.
