GREENFIELD — A pair of blood drives will be held Wednesdays, June 29 and July 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.

Blood donations take roughly one hour to complete, including the interview, donation and refreshments, according to a Baystate Health press release. To donate, you must be at least 17 years old; weigh at least 110 pounds; have a photo ID; be in good health; and have not donated blood in the past eight weeks.

The blood drives will be held in the old endoscopy suite on the first floor near the lab. Enter the hospital through the front entrance on High Street.

All eligible donors will receive a $10 gift card. For more information or to book an appointment to donate blood, call the Blood Donor Center at 413-794-4600. Be sure to note the hospital location (Baystate Franklin) you would like to make your donation at when you make your appointment.
