I wonder what the carbon footprint of these extravagant celebrations might be? And what about people who suffer from PTSD? If you are thinking this might be too “politically correct,” I suggest talking to a veteran who has flashbacks.
Sure, they can be beautiful, a tradition for families, and kids love them. But maybe it’s time for change. Can we consider retiring these celebrations of “bombs bursting in air?”
