GREENFIELD — Greenfield Cooperative Bank and its parent company, Greenfield Bancorp MHC, reelected the following incumbents as corporators during the 117th annual meeting held in Deerfield on Tuesday, June 21:
■Andrew C. Chase of Deerfield.
■Keith C. Finan of Williamstown.
■Nancy A. Fournier of Shelburne Falls.
Additionally, the following incumbents were reelected to three-year terms as directors of the bank and Greenfield Bancorp MHC:
■Kevin O’Neil of Greenfield.
■Keith Finan of Williamstown.
■Daniel Graves of Deerfield.
■Robb Morton of East Longmeadow.
GREENFIELD — Greenfield Cooperative Bank and its parent company, Greenfield Bancorp MHC, announced the operating results of fiscal year 2022, during which the bank’s assets grew by $41.4 million (or 5%) over the prior year.
Siobhan Tripp, marketing coordinator for Greenfield Cooperative Bank, previously clarified that while the federal, state and municipal fiscal year ends on June 30, “in the private sector there is flexibility as to when you choose to end your fiscal year.” The bank opted to end fiscal year 2022 on March 31.
According to a Greenfield Cooperative Bank press release, other results include:
■Originating more than $166 million in loans, including $61.3 million in residential mortgages, $92 million in commercial loans, $45.6 million in municipal lending, $9.2 million in home equity loans and lines, and $1.2 million in MassSave zero-interest energy loans.
■Deposits grew by $50.5 million (7.4%).
■The pre-tax operating income was $4.416 million and the net income after taxes was $3.454 million.
■The bank is considered “well capitalized” by all regulatory definitions.
As a result of these earnings, Greenfield Cooperative Bank and its employees were able to contribute more than $180,000 to 200 community groups and charities throughout Hampshire and Franklin counties during FY22.
