These are two words that all governments know very well. They are repeatedly studied and constantly used. All government entities use these on the masses because they know it works. If you keep people in constant fear they are so much more likely to be silenced.
Which brings me to the reason for this letter. I was talking to a friend the other day about gun violence in America. We both agreed how horrible and ridiculous it has gotten. He then told me that he had written a piece about it but was nervous about putting it in the newspaper. He said that he is worried that if he puts it in the paper that someone might show up at his place with firearms in tow. So sad to say he never posted his piece.
One more person silenced by fear is one too many. I told him I would write a piece instead because fear is no longer in my vocabulary. The second you stop being fearful of things is the second you can actually start living your life. It’s the same as when you stop caring about what people think of you. You can finally live freely, once you start to think for yourself.
So moving on to gun violence and the leaders that continue to support it. Many House Republicans and all of the Senate Republicans are siding with the NRA — you know, the same people that are funneling money to all these brain-washed sellouts. Along with Fox News, the Senate Republicans continue to sell out the American people.
Now I will say that when it comes to guns I do support the right to carry arms. I also support the right to hunt. However, I do not support any military-style rifle that shoots off multiple rounds. I see no reason for assault rifles on the streets. If you say you use these multi-round guns for target practice, then you might want to pick up a better hobby. If you’re that bad of a shot then you really do need to put down that rifle. What really gets me is that the Republicans make it like the Democrats are coming for all of their guns.
No, like I said, stop being so fearful. Don’t worry, no one’s going to step on your Second Amendment freedoms. God forbid you stop being so entitled. Just your multiple-round guns, that’s what they’re coming for, and rightly so. With well over 400,000,000 guns in this country, I’m sure they’re not going anywhere. So it looks like Senate Republicans have a choice. They could actually do the right thing for a change, or they can continue to allow massive amounts of people to be murdered on a regular basis. Their choice, our blood, their hands. Do something, you sold-out cowards. God bless all countries, no exceptions. Be good, do good.
