“A sad display of governing” from the mouth of our mayor who hasn’t a clue how to govern, made obvious by her unacceptable and cringe-worthy attempt to overturn a finding of racism by Greenfield Police Chief Robert Haigh Jr., instead of hailing the jury’s finding as a win for Greenfield to root out racist employees. I’m horrified that she is choosing to fight this rather than work quickly to eliminate racist police from our force. Furthermore, her treatment of Police Lt. Todd Dodge, who was placed under “house arrest,” is unreasonable and unfair. Mayor, clean up the GPD. You give Greenfield a bad name. Please act on what your constituents want. Its not the “RoxannWedegartner” show and taxpayers are already burdened by ever growing property taxes. Your job is to support the town and its people, not defend a racist cop who was found guilty by a jury of his peers. Do your job as you were elected to do.
