Law firm welcomes new attorneys, marketing coordinator

SPRINGFIELD — The Bacon Wilson law firm, which represents clients throughout western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut from five locations, has announced that Attorney Timothy M. Netkovick and Attorney Jennifer R. Sharrow have joined the company.

“Tim and Jennifer provide significant depth and experience to their respective practice groups,” Bacon Wilson’s Managing Shareholder Kenneth J. Albano said in a press release.

Netkovick is a member of Bacon Wilson’s Employment Law Practice Group. According to the release, he is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and Connecticut, and has experience in matters including employment and commercial litigation. Netkovick earned his juris doctor degree from Western New England College School of Law in 2002 and a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from American International College in 1999.

Sharrow is a member of Bacon Wilson’s Commercial Law Practice Group. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. According to the release, Sharrow has more than a decade of experience working in public service, with experience in federal programs where she focused on municipal, nonprofit and business development. She earned her juris doctor degree in 2010 from the University of Connecticut School of Law and earned a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire in 2007.

Bacon Wilson also welcomes Alayna Anderson as marketing coordinator. According to the release, Anderson is a Cape Cod native who relocated to Springfield after earning her bachelor’s degree in marketing as well as her master’s degree in business administration, both from Springfield College.

“With such a changing landscape in the marketing and media arena, we are so grateful given her wealth of experience,” Albano said of Anderson in the release.

Ninety Nine holding fundraiser for Folded Flag Foundation

GREENFIELD — Ninety Nine Restaurants will hold an inaugural fundraiser for the Folded Flag Foundation from Monday, June 6, through Monday, July 4, at all 101 Ninety Nine locations across New England and upstate New York, including at 17 Colrain Road in Greenfield.

The Folded Flag Foundation is a nationwide organization that provides educational scholarships and supporting grants to spouses and children of U.S. military personnel who have died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations since Sept. 11, 2001, according to a press release from the restaurant chain. Every dollar donated to the Folded Flag Foundation goes to Gold Star families.

“We are confident that our guests, with the effort of our team members, will show tremendous generosity as we raise funds for spouses and children of our nation’s fallen heroes, and to support them as they deserve,” Ninety Nine Restaurants CEO Craig W. Barber said in the release.

Guests can donate to the Folded Flag Foundation in person or online. Guests who dine at the restaurant will receive a $5 off $25 coupon for every $5 donation (coupons are valid through July 31). The release states those who order online at 99restaurants.com can add a $5 donation to their cart using the code $5-FFF at checkout and immediately receive $5 off their online order through July 4.
