Shame on the Recorder for splashing across the front page of the May 13 edition the photo and story of Frontier Regional School students protesting Roe v. Wade during valuable school time.  And double shame on the faculty and administration of Frontier for overseeing and condoning this use of class time to promote an activity based solely on the illegal leaking of highly confidential Supreme Court business.  Common sense tells us, and the layman knows, one doesn’t enter into legal action based on rumor and innuendo.  So why were these 13- and 14-year-old girls who allegedly organized the protest allowed to proceed on false and ill-based grounds?  As a result these innocent and impressionable young people were made to look like fools in the eyes of responsible, knowledgeable law abiding citizens.  This is where Frontier “dropped the ball” by not explaining the difference between felonious political pressure — mob rule — and the orderly unfolding of the rule of law. Without an understanding and respect for the latter we have nothing as a democracy and as a civilized nation with supreme allegiance for the three branches of government.

Shame on the selfish, self-serving adults overseeing this matter at Frontier and the Recorder for promoting it.
