TURNERS FALLS — The United Arc is sponsoring a support group for grandparents and other relative caregivers who are raising their grandchildren.
The group provides “an opportunity for grandparents to share their stories, challenges and successes,” according to a press release from Grandparent Resource Coordinator Janet Doody.

Gill boat ramp now open to public
GILL — The Gill Police Department announced on its Facebook page that the boat ramp at Barton Cove off of Route 2 is now open.
