Last I knew, the state of Vermont has an outstanding arrest warrant in effect for former president George W. Bush and Dick Cheney for war crimes against the Iraqi people. I don’t recall any special investigative committee to look into the outrageous unprovoked attack on Iraq. Thousands of people were killed and nobody had to answer for it. Bush apologists point to all the work he does for wounded soldiers. Considering he and his administration sent out men and women into harms way, his photo shots with amputees and homeless vets seems like a bad joke.
Leap forward to the mortgage crisis of 2009 and the billions of dollars squandered and embezzled by white collar executives. Taxpayers ended up bailing out many of the failed companies. Again, nobody was held accountable let alone sent to jail or forced to pay the money back.
Now we have this COVID business without any clear explanation. What are people afraid of? Secret police coming for them in the wee hours of the morning?
