Spring 2 Class Registration: Registration for Spring 2 classes for youth and adults is in progress. Spring 2 classes run from April 25 through June 12. Sign up at your-y.org or call 413-773-3646, ext 0.

Scuba Course: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. starting April 26. Instructor Dave MacDonald, who is certified with the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI), will teach diving techniques, equipment usage and more. This is the first step to becoming a certified scuba diver. For ages 10 and up, with a maximum of 10 participants. Contact Dave MacDonald at 413-774-0240 with questions.

Adult Gymnastics: Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. starting April 27. Open to adults (ages 18 and up) of all skill levels and experience. Sessions will have a structured format with flexibility based on ability. Email gymnastics@your-y.org for more information.

Intro to Boxing: Ongoing, Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Participants will conduct warm-ups and boxing exercises that will improve cardiovascular health, plus hand-eye coordination and agility. Free for YMCA members.

Youth Soccer at Greenfield Community College: Children ages 4 to 5 will meet Wednesdays starting April 27 at 5:30 p.m.; kids ages 6 to 8 will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays starting April 26 at 5:30 p.m.; and children ages 9 to 12 will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays starting April 26 at 6:30 p.m. Kicking, passing and dribbling skills are taught to younger and newer players, while older players learn defensive and offensive strategies and techniques.

Playgroup: Fridays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. through June. Unstructured playtime, geared toward children up to 6 years old. Adults must remain at the Y and play with their children at all times. $5 per child for members or $10 per child for non-members.

Blood Pressure Checks: Stop by the Y’s first-floor corridor for free blood pressure checks on Mondays from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. and Wednesdays from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Checks are also offered by appointment by contacting Jayne at 413-773-3646, ext 448.

Summer Camp Enrollment: Children can participate in singing, swimming, archery, gaga ball, arts and crafts, and more at Camp Apex in Shelburne. Also offered is Gymnastics Camp, held at the YMCA on Main Street, and Sports Camp at Stoneleigh-Burnham School featuring soccer, basketball and various other gym games.
