SHELBURNE FALLS — The Shelburne Falls Fire District will hold its annual meeting on Monday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Fire Station, located at 121 State St.
Elections will also be held that day at the Fire Station, according to a press release from Administrative Assistant Jan Morin. Polls will be open from noon to 7 p.m.
On the ballot is a three-year term as a commissioner, for which Ronald Dobosz is seeking re-election; a three-year term as assessor, for which John Riggan is a write-in candidate; and a one-year term as moderator, for which Gregg Gilmore is seeking re-election as a write-in candidate.

The councils on aging of Ashfield, Buckland and Shelburne invite residents to learn more about the proposed West County Senior Services District that will be on the spring Annual Town Meeting warrants in a series of upcoming public forums.
The forums will be held:
■Monday, April 11, at 7 p.m. at Ashfield Town Hall, 412 Main St.
■Tuesday, April 12, at 6:30 p.m. at Buckland Town Hall, 17 State St.
■Thursday, April 21, at 2 p.m. at the Shelburne-Buckland Community Center, 53 Main St.
