7:33 a.m. — Caller from First Street reports a black car sped into the parking area behind the Shady Glen restaurant on Avenue A. A man reportedly got out and started screaming at the man who has been living in the RV that has been parked there all winter. Police checked the area and found no disturbance. Nobody appearing to be present in the RV.
3:29 p.m. — Caller from the bike path reports that the fence blocking the metal bridge over the power canal had been opened. Police temporarily secured the gate before notifying the Department of Public Works.
7:52 a.m. — Caller reports a female party assaulted her daughter at Unity Park the previous day. When she confronted the girl, she was also attacked.
7:38 p.m. — Caller from Migratory Way near the Silvio O. Conte Anadromous Fish Research Laboratory states she is locked behind the gate.
7:45 p.m. — Caller from Fourth Street left a message regarding a group of kids that have been going into the laundry room and destroying things. Caller informed the landlord and they advised the caller to call police to have it put on record. Caller states the kids don’t live in the building.
9:40 p.m. — Caller reports a two-vehicle accident on Avenue A in which one vehicle reportedly left the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported. Police later advised that both vehicles were on scene.
9:34 p.m. — Caller from Avenue C reports someone smashed her windshield.
12:24 a.m. — Cashier from F.L. Roberts gas station on Third Street reports a 13-year-old in the store saying she has nowhere to go. The Department of Children and Families was contacted to find a place for the girl to stay. Police transported her to the Police Station in the meantime, where DCF later picked her up.
4:40 p.m. — Caller from Salvation Army on Avenue A reports a woman in the store yelling and screaming. With American Medical Response and Clinical Support Options both unavailable, police provided courtesy transport to Olive Street in Greenfield.
3:58 p.m. — Police and firefighters responded to an ATV fire by the high-tension wires on Wendell Road. Fire extinguished.
10:34 p.m. — Caller from Randall Road reports a man named James looking in her windows. She states he has also been in her attic and has been playing tricks on her. Caller declined to have police respond.
