The movie theater will be open for matinees from April 15 to April 24 during school vacation week. Children’s movies being released include “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” and “The Bad Guys.”

“We have not had a kid’s movie released since ‘Sing 2’ at Christmas,” noted Garden Cinemas co-owner Isaac Mass.

On April 20, the Garden Cinemas will show the 1998 film “Half Baked” starring David Chapelle at 4:20 p.m. for $4.20. There will also be an encore performance at 7 p.m. at regular prices. (Mass reminds patrons that smoking is not permitted inside the theater.)
