ERVING — The Water Department will flush hydrants starting March 28 and will continue until the work is complete. Flushing is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
TURNERS FALLS — Franklin County Technical School will break ground on its new veterinary clinic on Monday, March 28.
Construction is expected to last about a year, according to Superintendent Rick Martin’s report to the School Committee on March 16.
TURNERS FALLS — Out of the 43 competitors from Franklin County Technical School who competed at the March 15 district-level Skills USA competition, 19 students emerged as winners.
Winners will move on to compete at the state level.
“We’re super excited,” culinary arts teacher Christa Snyder said during a March 16 School Committee meeting.
