Learn about Jesus’ last 11 days

GREENFIELD — The Rev. David Levandusky, pastor at Living Waters Assembly of God, writes, “This is the season for people to learn more of Jesus’ last 11 days. One-third of all the Gospels deal with just those last 11 days. There is no book on the market as accurate in the chronological and harmonized account of Jesus last 11 days as ‘The Last Eleven Days of Jesus: Countdown to Passover, Crucifixion and Resurrection.’ It is highly endorsed by educators, authors, pastors, and the general public.” The book is available locally and on Amazon.com.

Lenten Meditation Walk

GREENFIELD — You are invited to the Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew, located at 8 Church St., for a special Lenten Meditation Walk. The walk consists of a set of 10 pieces of contemporary iconography, mounted on the walls of the sanctuary, that prompt viewers to reflect on our corporate brokenness as a society and as the church, particularly with regard to systemic racism and the climate crisis.

The church is open daily for folks to stop by and take an intentional meditative walk around our church sanctuary. We hope the walk will inspire prayer and reflection, much like the Stations of the Cross have done.
