Last week after trash/recycling day (on Mondays for me) I looked out window to see my yard and the neighborhood littered with trash and recyclables … none of it mine. I was smart. I knew it was going to be a windy day and I weighed my recyclables down so they would not blow away into everyone else’s yard. I spent a half hour collecting just in my own yard two weeks’ worth of trash (mostly recyclables). You could weigh things down with something as simple as putting your tagged trash bag on top, or using a rock, a brick, or anything heavy so the above does not happen. I’m quite sure I was not alone with this continuing problem, so please secure your trash and your recycling and keep our town green!
