The Shelburne and Buckland cable advisory committees are holding a public hearing to consider a 10-year extension of Comcast’s franchise agreement for television services.
The public hearing, to be held via Zoom, is set for Tuesday, March 15, at 6:30 p.m.
According to a notice from Mike Duffy, chair of the Shelburne Technology and Cable Advisory Committee, Tuesday’s hearing is an opportunity for residents of both towns to offer feedback on Comcast’s performance under the existing agreement, and any changes they’d like to see in a new agreement. The hearing can only consider television-related services, not telephone or internet services, which are not covered by the franchise agreement.
