GREENFIELD — Starting Friday, the Social Justice Committee at All Souls Church will join the First Congregational and St. John’s Episcopal churches of Ashfield, as well as other regional churches, in ringing bells at 11 a.m. on the 11th day of each month to call for action to address climate change.
According to a notice from Joan Pillsbury, a member of All Souls Church, the multi-denominational effort signifies that humanity is at “the 11th hour and so close to the time when we can no longer avoid the devastation of our planet from climate change.”
All Souls Church is located at 399 Main St.
