ATHOL — Three seasoned memoirists from Orange and Petersham will present a roundtable session about memoir on Thursday, Dec. 16, starting at 6 p.m. at the Athol Public Library.

Christine Noyes of Orange, author of the memoir “Close Enough to Perfect,” Paula Francis of Orange, author of the memoir “18 Pair of Shoes,” and Cynthia Crosson of Petersham, author of “You Cannot Cage the Wolf” will present and facilitate discussion about f memoir.

Noyes and Crosson’s memoirs have been available to the public since before the pandemic began, and Francis’ will be available in early 2022.

Considerations of the evening include identifying your audience, addressing the possibility of flashbacks, finding a publisher and “What’s holding me back?”

Memoirists will have books for sale at the roundtable, and the publisher, Haley’s Antiques and Publishing of Athol, will donate a percentage of sales to the Friends of Athol Public Library.

Masks are required per the Athol Board of Health.
