A beautiful day of kayaking also yielded fascinating facts and history of Barton’s Cove thanks to Northfield Mountain Recreation Center Educational Coordinator Kim Noyes. I’ve paddled there before, but I had no idea about the waterfalls, logging history and where the heck the swans came from.
I highly recommend an adventure with Kim who not only clearly knows her stuff, but loves sharing it with others. What a great way to spend an afternoon with friends or visiting family. Thanks Kim!
