Jan. 6 will go down in history as a vicious assault on our democracy. Almost everyone in our country witnessed the attack that day.
Since then though, there is an even bigger attack on our democracy. An attack on the truth. An attack from our own government to cover up the truth.
Senate Republicans continue to show their true colors. So we had an insurrection in this country and Senate Republicans want to pretend like it never happened. Spineless cowards, all of them!
It goes to show what lengths people will go to stay in power. Remember: their agendas are more important than you and your families’ lives.
The fact that the Senate Republicans want to sabotage the Jan. 6 probe should speak large volumes. Answer me this: Why would you not want to get to the truth of what happened that day? I guess if it doesn’t fit with your agenda, then it mustn’t have happened.
I guess their previous master has a pretty good choke hold on all of them. They all know that if the truth comes out that their chances of continuing their power trip will be shattered. So they will continue to abuse their power, so that they can stay in power.
They didn’t want a bipartisan trial to begin with; now they are crying foul against a trial at all. It’s sounding more and more like they have something big to hide. By continuing to suppress the truth, they continue to be treasonous to this country. They also know that if the truth comes out, they’re toast in 2022 and 2024.
Liz Cheney and Adam Kingsler, while I applaud you for finally stepping up, it’s too little too late. Both of you are also responsible for the insurrection. You both chose not to impeach and convict your master the first time around (which would have meant that Jan. 6 never would have happened) even though there was plenty of evidence that would have destroyed him.
Of course we all remember that Republicans did not allow even one witness to speak. What kind of trial does not allow witnesses? Cowardice. They suppressed every single witness in that trial.
Treasonous, if you ask me!
The Senate Republicans continue to be a cancerous rot to this country. If allowed to continue their onslaught, we will be third world status in no time. The truth will eventually come out and something tells me they have been going after the right witch all along. Lock “him” up!
God bless all countries, no exceptions Be good, do good.
