SHELBURNE FALLS — A. Martin and Sons Construction will not be on the Bridge Street construction site between July 5 and July 9.
According to Linda Overing of Breezeway Farm Consulting Inc., who is distributing the construction updates on the town’s behalf, sidewalk construction is scheduled to begin on July 12.
The full project, which started in May on Bridge Street from the Iron Bridge to roughly Baker Avenue, includes sidewalk and curb replacement and repair, repaving the road, removing and replacing trees, and upgrading the water system to industry standards.
All work is weather dependent, and dates may be extended due to inclement weather.
