SOUTH DEERFIELD — Stonemason Sonam Lama is hosting two workshops next month to teach homeowners the art of stone masonry. Lama has served the region since 1986 with his company Sonam’s Stone Walls and Art.

Lama said he is hosting the workshops because many homeowners are in need of new walls and training will help them get it done right.

“Stone walls are very hard work,” Lama said, “but when you finish it’s very satisfying.”

The workshops are $25 per day and will be held July 3 and July 10. All workshops will be held at 265 Greenfield Road in South Deerfield and are weather permitting.

Contact Lama at 413-665-5556 or email sonamstonewalls@gmail.com for more information.
