CONWAY — There are no contested races in this year’s town election, slated for Thursday, and one ballot question seeking to approve a debt exclusion to pay for road reconstruction.
Additionally, there are four positions that have no one on the ballot, but could be won with write-in votes.
The election will be held at Town Hall at 5 Academy Hill Road. Polls will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Philip Kantor is running for re-election to a three-year Selectboard seat. Russell French is seeking re-election to his three-year position on the Board of Assessors, while Denise Storm hopes to retain her seat on the Conway School Committee for another three-year term.
Jennifer Mullins is running for re-election for a three-year seat on the Planning Board, and James Recore is seeking re-election to the town moderator position for another year.
There is also a ballot question regarding allowing a debt exclusion to borrow $170,000 to repave a section of Shelburne Falls Road, a proposal that Annual Town Meeting voters approved on Saturday.
There are no candidates for either three-year position on the Board of Health, a three-year seat on the Conway School Committee or a three-year seat on the Planning Board.
