A while ago someone wrote a letter to the Recorder hinting this newspaper has been accused of bias. Bias?! The Recorder?! Never!

And further they mentioned the possibility of censorship. Censorship?! OMG! The Recorder?!

Oh whatever. It’s all true. The current editorial staff is less open-minded than ever. Censorship. Easy to prove.

Try writing a letter criticizing our local senators or representatives. It will never see the light of day. Why are they above criticism?

A popular theme nowadays is to snivel about privilege. So let’s snivel. Who’s more privileged than our local politicians? In for life. They seldom have to worry about running for re-election, or about any of their ideas being challenged by an opponent. Not because they have such great ideas.

The editor of the Recorder hinted that the lack of races may be a testament to the job they’ve been doing. Seriously?! Most know that in these parts a cabbage, with a “D” beside it could get elected.

Everybody hates the president. Like it or not he had opponents, won a primary, won an election, earned his seat. More than you can say that for our local pols. Most always no opponent. Un-elected. Un-accountable. Above criticism. Still not convinced. Try questioning the “eat the rich” narrative. Class warfare. Being successful is bad. There’s a quote from some place “compassionate people care about poverty, envious people care about income inequality’ Try questioning class warfare. Censored!

Another quote for the Recorder. ” Peace, truth, balance are never found in the extremes but in the space in between.” That extreme would be the left, to the Recorder.
