Hello readers. With the Nov. 3 national election only seven weeks away plus other timely topics, we are temporarily dropping our one-submission-per-30-days rule. All other rules such as word count — 300 for letters and 750 for my turns — and disclosing one’s name and community remain in place.
A deadline for the last election-related submissions will be announced later.
We encourage readers to comment on what others have submitted. Our only requirement is that the approach be respectful.
