The Franklin County Babe Ruth League will hold registrations for its fall baseball team(s) this morning from 10:30 a.m. until noon at Abercrombie Field in Greenfield.
Games are played on weekends only, and are scheduled to start on Sept. 12. The league is open to players ages 12 to 14.

West County Warriors beat
Hatfield
In Pioneer Valley Youth Baseball League Mickey Mantle playoff action from Wednesday, the visiting Hilltown Hardwood Flooring West County Warriors came from behind to score a 6-1 win over Hatfield.
The Warriors scored three runs in the fifth and three more in the seventh to erase a 1-0 deficit.
West County was led by Tyler Dubreuil, who finished with three hits, two runs and an RBI. Reuben Bassett, Brody Baird and Sam Schreiber had two hits each, while Shawn Davenport had a key two-run triple in the seventh inning to help ice the game. Cam Lococo had a hit in his second game back from injury.
The club advanced to play Northampton in an elimation game, which finished after deadline on Friday night.
Gary Stacy Tournament
The quartet of Jason Liimatainen, Eric Adams, Garrett Cousineau and Neil Slocombe combined to shoot 54, good enough for top honors in the Gary Stacy Memorial Scholarship Tournament at the Country Club of Greenfield.
Dennis Booska, Michael Johnson, Scott Cote and Ryan Cote were next with a 55.
Two teams tied for low net honors with 55s. Terry Sinclair, Tom Rogers, Tom Smith and Mike Larabee shared the win with the team of Pam Poissant, Lisa Sullivan, Tilly Clark and Colleen Slattery.
CFC Men’s League
Jason Wallace posted a winning plus-5 point quota to take the top spot in the Crumpin-Fox Club’s Men’s League from the blue tees on Thursday in Bernardston.
Chris Stoddard and Brian Hunt tied for second place at plus-3, followed by Robert Escott and Ryan Mahan at plus-2.
Nick Stoddard was closest to the pin on No. 3 (7 feet, 3 inches) and Cam Merrigan was closest at No. 9 (15-1). Skins winners were Mark Waskiewicz (three on No. 4), Chris Stoddard (three on No. 6) and Erik Barnes (three on No. 7).
Phil Phillips took top honors from the gold tees, posting a plus-4 point quota. Chet Kugler and Doug Taylor were next at plus-3.
Gene Kugler was closest to the pin on No. 3 (23-5) and Peter Jenkins was closest at No. 9 (44-8). Phillips won four skins on No. 5 and Taylor won three on No. 7.
