The last day for Northfield residents to register to vote in the Sept. 1 state primary election is Aug. 24, when the Town Clerk’s Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Town Clerk Dan Campbell said in-person early voting will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, and Sunday, Aug. 23, both from 8 to 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 24, and Tuesday, Aug. 25, both from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 8 a.m. to noon, and Thursday, Aug. 27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is Wednesday, Aug. 26, by 5 p.m. The deadline to request an absentee ballot in-person is noon on Aug. 31.
The last day for Leyden residents to register to vote in the Sept. 1 state primary is Friday, Aug. 21, between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Voter registration will also be held Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the new Town Offices, 7 Brattleboro Road.
Early voting for the state primary will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. from Aug. 22 to Aug. 28, at the new Town Offices. On Sept. 1, however, the election will be held at Town Hall, 16 West Leyden Road, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The last day for Bernardston residents to register to vote in the Sept. 1 state primary is Saturday, Aug. 22, when the Town Clerk’s Office will be open from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m.
The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is Aug. 26. Verify the party in which you are currently registered. If you are “unenrolled,” you will need to indicate which party ballot you want.
In-person early voting will be held Aug. 22 and Aug. 23, both from 2 to 4 p.m., Aug. 25 and Aug. 26, both from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Aug. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Aug. 27, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Town Hall.
Warwick will hold early voting for registered voters from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22 and Sunday, Aug. 23, as well as Monday, Aug. 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Town Hall.
Town Clerk John Paganetti said about one-quarter of registered voters in Warwick have already sent in requests to have a ballot mailed to them for the upcoming primary.
