NORTHFIELD – This Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from Aug. 7 to 10, Michael Humphries Woodworking will be holding an “everything must go extravaganza.”
The shop, located at 158 Birnam Road, Northfield, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and by appointment. Items will be sold at low prices, bartered for, sell for best offer or go for free as “everything must go,” according to Leigh Youngblood.
LEYDEN – The Leyden Town Office building, 7 Brattleboro Road, is now open. Visitors are asked to wear a mask upon entering, and social distancing is required. Hours: Monday 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
NORTHFIELD – The Northfield Selectboard conducted its annual reorganization following the recent town elections. After a brief discussion, Alex Meisner will remain as chair. The position was originally offered to member Heath Cummings, who declined saying his availability was limited with other responsibilities. Newly elected member Barbara “Bee” Jacque was appointed as the Selectboard clerk.
