In our world today, should we be celebrating a governing committee on any level which is made up totally of one sex, race or political leaning when we have such animosity toward all male, all white and all conservative groups? What do people want? What should people really want?
I personally want a society where governing bodies are comprised of people who bring to the table view points and backgrounds which broaden the discussion and will help people work together to bring about compromise.
I personally do not see that around me. I see people who want their way of thinking and that is it. My way only …. no compromise.
Sorry … that is not what I want. I would love to see groups made up of people with mixed views who want to make decisions which will encourage and motivate ALL PEOPLE to work together. If this does not happen, I fear we will only see more hatred … animosity … and is that what people really want?
