We all deserve the choice of whether or not to suffer with a drawn out painful terminal illness. Our families deserve the relief from suffering they cannot control. I pray to have the presence of mind and the courage should I find myself in those shoes to make that choice and set myself and my loved ones free.
Please join me in making our state among the nine others who have already led the way. Please contact your state legislators and urge them to support passage of H.1926 by the full House and Senate as soon as possible. Then ask your friends and family throughout Massachusetts to do the same with their legislators.
