HALIFAX, Vt. — The Halifax Union Society will hold its first service of the 2020 summer season this Sunday, July 5, starting at 5 p.m. The service will be conducted by teleconference as the society building in Halifax Center is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Rev. MONTAGUE — The First Congregational Church of Montague (4 North St.) announces its Wednesday night summer music series starting July 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.
This week’s concert features Kip and Ripley Dresser. The concert will be held only if weather permits it to be outside. Please remember to bring a chair and face covering and to sit 6 feet apart. The musicians will set up on the church lawn so there is plenty of room. The Dresser family is well-known throughout the valley for their musical and dance talents.
The series will be held each Wednesday in July, weather permitting.
NORTHFIELD — The Community Bible Church will hold an outdoor service at 24 Main St. in Northfield this Sunday, June 28, at 11 a.m. All are welcome to attend. You may find a socially distanced space on the lawn or under the tent, or remain in your car and listen by radio at AM1500. The 30-minute service will included music, prayer, Scripture reading and a Bible lesson.
