GILL — The Riverside Water District will approve its budget and elect officers during its annual meeting on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Riverside Municipal Building.
According to a notice from Riverside Water District Clerk and Treasurer Priscilla Fowler, if 10 or more people attend, the meeting will be held outside.
The agenda will include the approval of the annual budget of $39,177.50, which has increased $96 due to an increase in the insurance premium, the notice states. Election of officers will also take place, with nominations taken from the floor.
The following incumbents are seeking re-election: Marie Suprenant, moderator, one-year term; Priscilla Fowler, clerk, one-year term; Priscilla Fowler, treasurer, one-year term; and Donald Shebell, commissioner, three-year term. Anyone interested in these positions is encouraged to attend the meeting.
